The Bridge City Sinners Santa Barbara Concert reviews
Great concert, Poor Venue
"The top-notch part of the program was The Bridge City Sinners - they were engaging and funny, their voice still melodious and strong. The venue and set-up were terrible! It was easily 50 degrees inside, with cold air blowing continuously on the seats in the 2nd and 3rd level. If a concert is held in a hockey arena, turn off the blowers so people aren’t shivering and miserable. Yikes. Additionally, it was also disappointing to have seats sold so far on the sides (e.g., section 212) - none of the screens were visible. Why didn’t they utilize the Jumbotron on the ceiling to show content? The acoustics were subpar and echo-y, especially when the bongos and other percussion instruments were in use - they completely drowned out the vocals."
